Around the station and Whitehorse Road there are apartment towers, while the surrounding streets still hold interwar and post-war homes, many being replaced by townhouses. For new homes and units, Victorian planning rules also expect at least 20% of the site to be left permeable, and permeable pavers can help meet that.
