Antonio completed our bluestone paving in Hampton and the result is outstanding. The levels, drainage and finishing details are flawless. Highly recommended for high-end paving.
We had a fairly complicated drainage issue on the site, but Antonio came up with a solution and executed it perfectly. The workmanship was top quality, and there were no unexpected surprises along the way.
Antonio runs a very professional small business. Friendly, punctual and hard working. Built 2 retaining walls and remodelled our driveway paving. Would use Antonio's service again.
Antonio and his colleague did a great job with our backyard brick laying. Easy to deal with, on time and professional.
Antonio just completed some brick paving alongside our front fence. The paving looks fabulous and was completed in 2 days. He was reliable and the work was completed to a high standard.
Antonio cleared out our small backyard, laid some pavers and built a step around our existing deck. He was quick to respond, well priced, and was happy to change and vary the scope of works as needed.
It depends on the job. Stone laid on a mortar bed — crazy paving, and bluestone or travertine around pools and patios — usually gets grouted joints, which are firm and easy to keep clean. Pavers laid on a compacted sand and crushed-rock base, like brick and concrete pavers on driveways and paths, get polymeric sand, which sets firm, stays slightly flexible and helps keep weeds and ants out. We recommend the right one for your area on the site visit.

Crazy paving uses irregular pieces of natural stone fitted together like a puzzle, bedded on mortar and hand-pointed. It creates a natural, one-of-a-kind surface for courtyards, paths and pool surrounds.
Often, yes — if the existing slab is sound, not cracked or moving, and already falls away from the house. We check it at the free quote. If it isn't suitable, we break it out and pour a new base.
Limestone is light and stays cooler underfoot, which suits courtyards and pools. Bluestone is Melbourne's classic hard-wearing grey stone. Sandstone and flagstone give a warmer, more rustic look. We'll bring samples so you can compare them against your home.
We recommend it. Sealing helps natural stone resist stains, moss and weathering, and makes it easier to keep clean. Most sealers need re-applying every few years.
