Every brick has its own colour and wear, so the finished paving looks settled from day one — not brand new and flat.
The natural choice for Victorian, Edwardian and Californian bungalow homes, weatherboards and cottage gardens.
Reclaimed bricks are given a second life instead of going to landfill, and suitable bricks from your own property can often be cleaned and reused.
Well-fired clay brick keeps its colour and handles decades of foot traffic when laid on a properly compacted base.
Individual bricks can be lifted and relaid — handy for tree roots, plumbing access or future changes.
Brick handles curved garden paths and soldier-course edges beautifully, blending paving into planting.
We'll talk through patterns at your free on-site quote. The pattern changes both the look and how the paving performs.
Bricks laid at 45° or 90° so they interlock. The strongest pattern and the best choice for driveways.

Antonio completed our bluestone paving in Hampton and the result is outstanding. The levels, drainage and finishing details are flawless. Highly recommended for high-end paving.
We had a fairly complicated drainage issue on the site, but Antonio came up with a solution and executed it perfectly. The workmanship was top quality, and there were no unexpected surprises along the way.
Antonio runs a very professional small business. Friendly, punctual and hard working. Built 2 retaining walls and remodelled our driveway paving. Would use Antonio's service again.
Antonio and his colleague did a great job with our backyard brick laying. Easy to deal with, on time and professional.
Antonio just completed some brick paving alongside our front fence. The paving looks fabulous and was completed in 2 days. He was reliable and the work was completed to a high standard.
Antonio cleared out our small backyard, laid some pavers and built a step around our existing deck. He was quick to respond, well priced, and was happy to change and vary the scope of works as needed.
It depends on the job. Stone laid on a mortar bed — crazy paving, and bluestone or travertine around pools and patios — usually gets grouted joints, which are firm and easy to keep clean. Pavers laid on a compacted sand and crushed-rock base, like brick and concrete pavers on driveways and paths, get polymeric sand, which sets firm, stays slightly flexible and helps keep weeds and ants out. We recommend the right one for your area on the site visit.
Most recycled brick jobs we quote fall between $170 and $270 per m² supplied and laid. The final price depends on area, access, demolition of the existing surface, base preparation, the bricks themselves and the pattern. Every quote is free and confirmed in writing after an on-site measure-up.
New clay pavers are uniform and slightly cheaper to lay. Recycled bricks cost a little more but give instant character and suit period homes and established gardens. Both last for decades on a properly prepared base.
Yes, if the bricks are hard enough and they're laid on a base built for vehicle loads, ideally in herringbone so they interlock. Not every old brick is suitable, so we check them before quoting and only use bricks that can take the load.
Often, yes. Sound bricks from old paths, walls or paving can usually be cleaned and relaid. We'll assess them at the free quote and tell you honestly how many are usable.
It's optional. A sealer deepens the colour and helps keep joints clean and weeds down, but many clients prefer the natural weathered look. We'll talk through the options with you.
A standard courtyard of around 20m² usually takes 3–5 working days from excavation to final clean-up, weather permitting. Your written quote includes an expected timeframe.
