Frequently Asked Questions

How long does brick paving last?

Quality brick paving with a proper compacted base will last 30–50+ years. Clay bricks are virtually indestructible. The base preparation is the most critical factor — a well-built base prevents sinking and movement over time.

Do you remove old concrete before paving?

Yes. We handle full demolition and removal of existing concrete, asphalt, or old pavers as part of the project. Demo and disposal cost is included in your quote.

What's the best brick paving pattern for a driveway?

Herringbone (45° or 90°) is the strongest pattern for driveways — the interlocking geometry distributes load much better than running bond or stack bond. We recommend herringbone for all driveways with vehicle traffic.

How long does a paving project take?

A standard 20m² driveway or patio takes 3–4 working days including excavation, base prep, laying and grouting. Larger projects take proportionally longer. You'll get an exact schedule in your quote.
