Retaining walls are quoted after a site visit; the price depends on wall height, material (timber sleeper vs concrete block) and engineering requirements. Taller walls (over 1 metre) usually need engineering certification, which adds to the cost. Every quote is free and confirmed in writing after an on-site inspection.
Most Melbourne councils require engineering certification for retaining walls over 1 metre high, or lower if the wall is supporting a structure, driveway or is near a boundary. We can arrange engineering drawings and handle the permit process as part of the job.
