Doncaster grew around Doncaster Road and what is now Westfield Doncaster, with solid brick family homes from the 1960s and 70s on generous, often sloping blocks. Many of those houses are being renovated or replaced with large contemporary homes, and the original concrete driveways, paths and pool surrounds are ready to go.
