Our bricklaying work supports the paving we do: garden walls and planter boxes, letterbox piers, steps and edging, brick seating walls and repairs to existing brickwork next to new paving. We match existing bricks where possible, using recycled bricks for period homes.
Brick steps need consistent riser heights and a solid base so they don't settle away from the paving. Brick edging — soldier courses or on-edge borders — frames paths and driveways and stops pavers spreading.
Planters need drainage holes and a waterproof lining behind the brick so moisture doesn't stain the face. Low garden walls are built on proper footings, with weep holes where they hold back soil.
On older homes we source recycled bricks and mix mortar to match the existing colour, so new work doesn't stand out. Every job is priced in writing after a free site visit.
